GC-PDRN

GC-PDRN

From PDRN raw materials to finished products Genocure strives
to become a leading company in the regenerative medicine bio-market.

"PDRN is a DNA extracted from salmon, known for its exceptional effects on tissue regeneration and inflammation reduction."

PDRN

Polydeoxyribonucleotide

First developed and marketed in Italy in 1954, PDRN has proven its remarkable regenerative effects. It has been widely used in Korea for about 60 years since the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety approved it as a pharmaceutical ingredient in 2008.

PDRN, extracted from salmon germ cells, has a structure 96% similar to human DNA. It promotes wound healing and excels at tissue regeneration. It boasts excellent safety and is suitable for use by pregnant women, nursing mothers, and chronic patients on various medications.

However, due to the small number of salmon, limited sperm volume, and low PDRN yield, it was a difficult therapeutic agent to obtain. A single salmon provides only 10-15mL of sperm, which can only be harvested from salmon swimming upstream during spawning season.

Genocure has overcome these technical barriers and succeeded in mass production of high-purity PDRN. This success signals a promising future for Genocure in the anti-inflammatory and cellular regenerative pharmaceutical markets.

Mechanism of Action of PDRN

PDRN Efficacy
and Applications

· Promotes self-regeneration of damaged cells and tissues

· Reduces inflammation by promoting angiogenesis and regeneration of capillaries, as well as bone tissue healing

· High biocompatibility with human cells due to salmon-derived DNA, stimulating cell receptors and growth factors

· Utilized for burns, pressure ulcers, atopic dermatitis, and skin rejuvenation

· Broad applications in orthopedics, anesthesiology, rehabilitation medicine, plastic surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, ENT, and dentistry

GC-PDRN vs. Madecassol Wound Healing Effect Comparison

·Application of Madecassoside (the ingredient in Madecassol) and GC-PDRN to the wound

After 24 hours, it was confirmed that GC-PDRN resulted in the fastest wound healing.

GC-PDRN

Possesses the technology to manufacture PDRN of various sizes based on the same manufacturing process

· ’GC-PDRN’ is Genocure’s unique technology that allows the production of double-stranded DNA (Polynucleotide) or small-sized DNA (Polydeoxyribonucleotide) of desired sizes.

· Developed using proprietary technology, ‘GC-PDRN’ can be applied to various products and boasts the highest purity and efficacy.

· Genocure’s unique large-scale raw material production technology enables domestic and international supply.

· While the size of PDRN varies from 50 to 2,500bp, Genocure’s GC-PDRN has an excellent quality with a DNA fragment size of 100 to 300bp (pharmaceutical grade).

Manufacturing PDRN in Various Sizes

· Uniformed bp (size)

· DNA fragment sizes can be precisely divided and manufactured into various sizes
